Happy Tuesday!
This is the last week for digital learning. The last assignment will be on Thursday, May 14, 2020. You will have until 1:30pm on May 20, 2020 to submit your final assignments. Digital lessons will be Monday thru Thursday. Friday will be for make-up work or to ask questions if you need more assistance. Virtual Office Hours will be from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm. The ELA team invites middle school writers to take the 100 Word Story Middle School Challenge! One hundred word stories are complete stories that contain a beginning, a middle, and an end told in EXACTLY 100 words. As you type your story in Microsoft Word, a word count is kept in the lower left-hand corner of the document. To participate, all you need to do is write a 100 word story inspired by one of the six images in the directions sheet (see attached). The directions also include two examples. To enter the submission, complete the submission form, and then add the story to the Padlet. The story with the most “likes” on May 15 is the winner of a gift card! The attached document includes the directions, links, images, and examples. This document is all you need to participate in this challenge! directions_for_100_word_story_middle_school_challenge_.pdf 1st period 6th grade ELA: Our Virtual class will be from 10:30 am to 11:00 am Monday through Thursday.
